Amid changing political and economic conditions, governments in the MENA region are playing a bigger role now more than ever in reshaping strategies for the future.
GCC governments have been relying largely on oil revenues to finance their expenditures as oil revenues accounted for between 50 and 90% of total government revenues during 2012–15 across the six countries. With plunging oil prices, governments are diversifying their economies away from oil.
We cooperate with governments at all levels to enable transformation and build effective mechanisms in the service of the people, while adopting strategies for revenue diversification.
